Leo Austria nakuha ang ikalawang sunod na PBA Coach of the Year award

MAPAPASAMA na si San Miguel Beermen head coach Leo Austria sa mga listahan ng mga sikat na champion coaches habang sina Rain or Shine co-owners Raymund Yu at Terry Que ay muling kikilalanin sa isasagawang 2016 PBA Press Corps Annual Awards Night ngayong gabi sa Gloria Maris Restaurant sa Gateway Mall ng Araneta Center sa Cubao, Quezon City.

Sa ikalawang sunod na season ay tatanggapin ni Austria ang Virgilio ‘Baby’ Dalupan Coach of the Year trophy matapos na igiya sa 41st PBA season ang San Miguel Beermen sa pinakanakakagulat na pagbangon sa kasaysayan ng liga matapos makabawi buhat sa 0-3 finals deficit laban sa Alaska Aces para mapagwagian ang korona ng Philippine Cup.

Sina Yu at Que ay tatanggapin naman ang Danny Floro Executive of the Year award matapos mapanatili ng kanilang prangkisa ang pagiging top contender sa liga at mapanalunan ang titulo ng Commissioner’s Cup title sa likod ng masisipag na manlalaro.

Ang tatlo ay napasama naman sa piling listahan ng mga pararangalan na pinagpilian at pinagbotohan ng mga sportswriters na kumukober ng PBA.

Ang alas-7 ng gabi na event na hatid ng Cignal ay iho-host nina Rizza Diaz at Quintin Pastrana ay magiging special guest of honor si incoming league chairman at congressman Mikee Romero.

Kikilalanin din sa nasabing okasyon sina San Miguel Beermen guard Chris Ross bilang Mighty Sports Defensive Player of the Year, Rain or Shine Elasto Painters guard Jericho Cruz bilang Mr. Quality Minutes at ang bagong Star Hotshots guard na si Paul Lee bilang William ‘Bogs’ Adornado Comeback Player of the Year.

Pararangalan din ang Accel All-Rookie team na kinabibilangan nina Chris Newsome, Troy Rosario, Scottie Thompson, Art dela Cruz at Maverick Ahanmisi.
