SA lahat ng mga tinalo ng La Salle sa unang round ng elims, sa National University lubhang nahirapan.
Kaya naman sa kanilang muling pagtatagpo ngayon sa second round ng UAAP Season 79 men’s basketball elims ay ibayong paghahanda ang ginawa ng Green Archers.
“It was the most difficult game that we played,’’ sabi ni La Salle coach Aldin Ayo patungkol sa 75-66 panalo ng Green Archers sa Bulldogs sa first round.
“We were still guessing what to do against them in the third quarter.’’
Mag-uumpisa ang kanilang laban ganap na alas-4 ng hapon sa Filoil Flying V Arena in San Juan kung saan puntirya rin ng La Salle na masungkit ang ika-10 panalo sa 10 laban at makakuha ng silya para sa Final Four.
Papasok sa laro ang NU na tangan ang tatlong sunod na pagkatalo at bitbit ang nanganganib na 4-5 kartada.
“That makes them (Bulldogs) more dangerous,” dagdag pa ni Ayo.
Sa isa pang laro ngayon ay magsasagupa ang University of East at Ateneo Blue Eagles alas-12 ng tanghali.

Galing sa panalo ang UE Red Warriors kontra Adamson Falcons habang ang Blue Eagles naman ay tinisod ng University of the Philippiines sa huli nitong laban.

“I think we’re starting to show our true worth, the thing that I’ve been looking for since the start of the season,’’ sabi ni UE coach Derrick Pumaren.

“We just play with confidence and hopefully we would be able to play to our true potential.’’
