“As classes in Davao City resume today, we request for police and barangay tanods visibility near our schools. We are also reminding our personnel to be continuously vigilant of their surroundings,” hiling ng ahensya. “We express our deepest sympathy and condole with the bereaved families of the victims. Such act of violence has no place in a civilized society,” saad ng pahayag ng ahensya. “We urge the authorities to leave no stone unturned in pursuing the perpetrators and to ensure that similar barbaric acts are prevented in the future.” “I understand that the Abu Sayyaf Group has claimed responsibility for this cowardly and senseless act of violence. If this is confirmed, then government is well within its right to run after them with hammer and tongs and to neutralize them with all the resources at its command,” ani Alvarez.
