IZA CALZADO AT DAVID BECHAM

TUWANG-TUWA raw si Iza Calzado nang ma-meet niya up close and personal ang football superstar na si David Beckham sa loob ng isang natural foods grocery (Erewhon Market) sa Los Angeles, California.

Ipinost daw ni Iza sa kanyang private Facebook account ang kanyang close encounter with Beckham at nag-shake hands pa raw sila after she asked kung siya raw ba talaga si David Beckham.

Sabi pa raw niya, “I said, ‘Sorry but I have to ask, are you David Beckham?’ and he said ‘Yes, I am.’ And I was like, ‘oh gosh, I just had to make sure.’ Then I added. ‘I’m from the Philippines so I’m not really from around here so I had to double check. I’m Iza.’ Then we shook hands.

“He told me he was in the PH 9 months ago and I asked if it was for a football thing and he said Unicef sent him there. So I said ‘oh for Haiyan. Thank you for doing that.’ He was the nicest and even said bye to me as I was leaving and said ‘It was very nice to meet you.’ OMG I’m dying!!!!!

“Thank you, David Beckham, for being a lovely human being! I know your are known for your good looks and football skill but for me, your greatest strength is your kindness. I am now a FAN!”
