Alfred Vargas umamin na siya ang kasama ni De Lima at hindi si Colangco

Hindi ang convicted bank robber na si Herbert Colangco ang katabi sa viral video ni Sen. Leila de Lima kundi si Quezon City Rep. Alfred Vargas.
Kumalat ang video ng kaarawan ng noon ay Justice Sec. Leila de Lima at kasama umano niya sa party si Colangco.
Pero sinabi ni Vargas na siya ang katabi ni de Lima. Nakasuot umano siya ng sunglasses dahil mayroon siyang sore eyes noon.
“Ako yung katabi ni Sen. De Lima,” ani Vargas na umaasang maitatama na ang maling kuwento. “On viral video of Sen, De Lima. I would like to confirm, for the record, that I was the one seated next to Sec. De Lima during her birthday celebration last year showing in the youtube video.”
Ginanap umano ang party noong Agosto sa quadrangle ng Department of Justice.
“I had sore eyes that time so I had to war sunglasses and could not properly shake hands with everybody. I hope this statement clarifies matters to all parties concerned and bring us closer to the truth,” dagdag pa ni Vargas.
Si Colangco ay nakakulong sa New Bilibid Prison dahil sa pagkakasangkot sa serye ng bank robbery sa bansa. Isa rin umano siyang drug lord, ayon kay Pangulong Duterte.
