“She (Barros) really wanted to come and has expressed interest to see the Philippines again, but the thing is hindi pa niya nasisiguro kung makakalaro siya para sa team o magsilbi bilang opisyales na irerepresenta ang kanyang team na bansang Brazil,” sabi ni Cayco.

Ang 44-anyos na si Barros, na nahuli ang interes ng marami sa kanyang unang pagdating sa Pilipinas, ang siya ngayong Secretary of State for Sports, Tourism and Leisure ng Brazil.

“We don’t know yet if the team representing Brazil, the Rexona Ades, will have her in the lineup or she will just be accompanying the team as an official,” sabi pa ni Cayco.

“Leila Barros and I are planning something in the Philippines after the Olympic Games,” sabi ni Adachi.
