4 Malaysian kidnap victim pinalaya ng Abu Sayyaf

Pinawalan ng mga kasapi ng Abu Sayyaf ang apat na Malaysian sa Sulu Miyerkules ng madaling-araw, matapos ang mahigit dalawang buwang pagbihag sa mga ito, ayon sa militar.
Natunugan ng mga tropa ng pamahalaan ang pagpapalaya kina Wong Teck Chii, Johnny Lau Jung Hien, Wong Teck Kang, at Wong Hung Sing dakong alas-12:30, sabi ni Major Filemon Tan, tagapagsalita ng Armed Forces Western Mindanao Command.
“The victims were brought to the shoreline of Brgy. Lagasan Higat in Parang, Sulu, and immediately boarded a speedboat en route to Sandakan, Sabah,” sabi ni Tan sa isang text message.
“Information received from ground units disclosed that the freed victims arrived in Sandakan around 6 a.m… We have yet to confirm whether ransom money was paid in exchange for the release,” aniya pa.
Matatandaan na ang apat ay dinukot ng mga armado habang naglalayag sa bahagi ng dagat na malapit sa Sempornah, Sabah, lulan ng tugboat na Massive 6 noong Abril 1.
Ang mga kidnaper ay pinaniniwalaang tagasunod ni Abu Sayyaf sub-commander Madjan Sahidjuan alias Apuh Mike, ani Tan.
