NAKAHANDA na ang paglahok ng mga collegiate volleyball stars sa 2016 Philippine Superliga (PSL) All-Filipino Conference women’s volleyball tournament na magsisimula sa Hunyo 18.
Tampok sina Mika Reyes, Cyd Demecillo, Kim Fajardo at Kim Dy ng UAAP champion De La Salle University sa listahan ng mga talento na sasabak sa premyadong commercial volleyball league sa bansa.
Tuon din ang atensiyon sa open spiker na si Ara Galang na inaasahan na sasamahan ang kanyang mga kakampi sa La Salle bagaman hindi pa nito napagdedesisyunan kung dadaan sa proseso ng draft o agad na sumama bilang direct hire ng F2 Logistics, na binubuo ng mga beteranong Lady Spikers na sina Cha Cruz, Stephanie Mercado at Aby Maraño.
Isa pang dating Lady Spiker na si Carol Cerveza ang sasabak din sa aksyon. Gayunman, agad na itong pumirma para sa Grand Prix champion Foton kasama ang University of Santo Tomas stars EJ Laure at Cherry Rondina.
“These La Salle players will not go through the draft because they already played as direct hires of Meralco in the Grand Prix last year,” sabi ni PSL president Ramon “Tats” Suzara. “Same goes for Laure and Rondina who will enter the league as direct hires of Foton.”
Dahil dito ay inaasahan na ang NCAA Most Valuable Player (MVP) CJ Rosario ang hahatak ng kumpleting atensiyon sa pagsasagawa ng 3rd Annual Rookie Draft sa Mayo 27 sa third floor lobby ng SM Aura sa Taguig City.
Matapos sumabak sa Petron, ang 6-foot-1 middle blocker ang inaasam na maging top overall pick.

Ang three-time champion RC Cola-Army ang unang pipili sa draft pool sunod ang Generika, University of Perpetual Help, Standard Insurance, F2 Logistics, Cignal, Petron at panghuli ang Foton.
Gayunman, ang draft order ay maaaring magbago dahil sa magkakaroon ang liga ng tatlong araw para magpalitan ng mga manlalaro simula alas-12 ng tanghali ng Mayo 24 hanggang sa draft proper sa Mayo 27.
