Valdez, Espejo tinanghal na UAAP Season 78 volleyball MVP
TINANGHAL na Most Valuable Player ang mga manlalaro ng Ateneo de Manila University na sina Alyssa Valdez sa women’s division at Mark Jesus Espejo sa men’s division para sa UAAP Season 78 Volleyball Tournament.
Ang karangalan ay ikatlong sunod kay Valdez matapos na tanghaling MVP noong Season 76 at 77 at ikaanim sa kabuuan matapos na tatlong beses din tanghalin habang naglalaro sa juniors division. Ikatlong sunod din ang karangalan para kay Espejo.
Maliban sa pagiging MVP ay inuwi rin ni Valdez ang prestihiyo bilang Best Scorer at Best Server.
Napunta naman ang Best Spiker kay Alyja Daphne Santiago ng National University habang Best Blocker si Mary Joy Baron ng De La Salle University. Tinanghal na Best Digger at Best Receiver si Dawn Nicole Macandili ng DLSU habang Best Setter si Kim Fajardo na mula rin sa DLSU Lady Spikers.
Ang Rookie of the Year ay si Maria Lina Isabel Molde ng University of the Philippines.
Napunta rin kay Espejo ang Best Spiker at Best Server sa men’s division habang kinilala bilang Best Scorer si Raymark Woo ng DLSU. Ang Best Blocker ay si Edward Camposano ng University of the East habang Best Digger si Ricky Marcos ng NU.
Ang Best Setter ay napunta kay Esmilzo Joner Polvoroza ng Ateneo habang Best Receiver si Rikko Marius Marmeto na mula naman sa Far Eastern University.
Tinanghal naman na Rookie of the Year si James Martin Natividad ng NU.
