Sabit sa AK-47 nagpiyansa na

Nagpiyansa na kahapon ang mga dati at kasalukuyang opisyal at miyembro ng Philippine National Police na sabit sa AK-47 scam.
Naglagak si dating Firearms and Explosives Office head Chief Supt. Raul Petrasanta ng P750,000 piyansa para sa kanyang pansamantalang kalayaan sa 25 kaso ng paglabag sa Anti-Graft and Corrupt Practices Act.
Nagkakahalaga ng P30,000 ang piyansa bawat kaso ng graft.
Kasama ni Petrasanta sa mga kaso ang 14 na iba pa na sangkot umano sa maanomalyang pagbibigay ng mahigit 1,000 AK-47 Rifle sa apat na security company kahit na kulang ang dokumento ng mga ito.
Ilan sa mga baril na ito ay narekober sa mga engkuwentro ng sundalo laban sa New Peoples Army sa Mindanao noong 2014.
Naglagak na rin ng piyansa ang 11 akusado ni Petrasanta, sina PNP Supervisory Office for Security and Investigation Agencies chief Chief Supt. Tomas Rentoy III, Senior Supt. Eduardo Acierto, Senior Supt. Allan Parreño, Police Supt. Nelson Bautista, Police Chief Inspector Ricardo Zapata, Jr., ex-Civil Security Group director Police Dir. Gil Meneses at dating FEO head Police Dir. Napoleon Estilles, Firearms and Licensing Division chief Chief Supt. Regino Catiis, SPO1 Eric Tan at SPO1 Randy De Sesto at ang private respondent na si Isidro Lozada ng Caraga Security Agency.
Hindi pa nagpipiyansa sina Non-uniformed Personnel Nora Pirote at Sol Bargan.
Noong Biyernes ay naglabas ng warrant of arrest ang Sandiganbayan Fifth Division laban sa mga akusado matapos na ibasura ang kanilang mosyon na ibasura ang kaso.
Nakabinbin naman sa Office of the Ombudsman ang motion for reconsideration ni Police Chief Inspector Ricky Sumalde.
