LP itinuro si Binay sa disqualification ni Grace

Wala umanong kinalaman ang Liberal Party sa lumabas na desisyon ng Commission on Elections Second Division na nagdiskuwalipika kay Sen. Grace Poe na tumakbo sa 2016 presidential elections.
Ipinaalala pa ni Akbayan Rep. Barry Gutierrez, spokesman ng Team Daang Matuwid, na ang kampo ni Vice President Jejomar Binay ang naunang kumuwestyon sa residency requirement ni Poe.
“Absolutely walang katotohanan na meron kaming kinalaman sa mga disqualification cases and so on. Kung babalikan natin, halimbawa sa issue ni Senator Poe, sino ba ang unang kampo na nag-raise ng issue ng kanyang disqualification on the basis of citizenship? Eh sa aking pagkaalala hindi naman kami eh,” ani Gutierrez.
Hindi tinukoy ni Gutierrez subalit pinatutungkulan niya si Navotas Rep. Toby Tiangco, pangulo ng United Nationalist Alliance na partido ni Binay.
“So bakit kami ang tinuturo considering hindi naman kami ang nagsimula ng usapang yan, hindi namin sinakyan yan kailanman,” dagdag pa nito.
Sinabi naman ni Marikina Rep. Miro Quimbo, spokesman rin ng Team Daang Matuwid, na hindi nila mapipigilan ang ilan na ibintang sa kanila ang pangyayari “pero walang pawang katotohanan yan.”
Ayon kay Quimbo, kung nakiki-alam ang kanilang partido ay disqualified na si Poe sa Senate Electoral Tribunal pa lamang.
Bumoto pabor kay Poe si Sen. Bam Aquino, miyembro ng LP. Kung bumoto si Aquino pabor sa reklamo ay tanggal na sa pagkasenador si Poe.
Ang anak naman ni Binay na si Sen. Nancy Binay ay bumoto laban kay Poe.
“Kaisa-isang boto lang, the deciding vote in favor of Sen. Grace was Sen. Bam Aquino, who is not only an ordinary LP member but is a member of the executive committee of the Liberal Party, is the first cousin of the President. The President has a separate candidate. So, kung talagang ang intensyon namin ay gamitin ang proseso eh noon pa lang ginawa na namin when it is absolutely under our control,” ani Quimbo.
