Palasyo nanawagan sa hudikatura na madaliin ang paglilitis ng Maguindanao massacre

NANAWAGAN ang Palasyo sa hudikatura na pabilisin ang pagdinig sa Maguindanao massacre sa harap naman ng paggunita bukas ng ika-anim na anibersaryo ng karumal-dumal na insidente kung saan tinatayang 58 katao ang pinatay, kasama na ang 32 miyembro ng media.

Sinabi ni Presidential Spokesperson Edwin Lacierda na ilang beses nang nanawagan ang gobyerno kasama ang media para matiyak ang mabilis na pag-usad ng mga kaso laban sa mga Ampatuan na sinasabing utak ng masaker.

“So, once again, we continue to ask our judicial branch if there’s anyway that they [can do] to speed up the pace of the case. We understand that the Supreme Court has done a number of reforms to ensure na bumilis ‘yung kaso and to continue, hopefully, sana matapos na po ito at the earliest possible time,” sabi ni Lacierda.

Ito’y sa harap na rin ng patuloy na paghahangad ng hustisya ng mga kaanak ng mga biktima ng masaker makalipas ang anim na taon ng pangyayari.

“We continue to be outraged by the whole incident and we remember the people who unfortunately died in that tragic massacre,” dagdag ni Lacierda.
