Yaya Dub ginagamit ng Lumad – military official

Posibleng nabola lamang umano si Maine Mendoza alias “Yaya Dub” kaya sumuporta ito sa mga Lumad.
Ayon kay Brigadier General Joey Kakilala maaaring hindi alam ni Maine Mendoza ang buong kuwento kaya nagpahayag ito ng suporta sa mga Lumad sa pamamagitan ng fan sign.
Pumunta naman si Aiza Seguerra sa mga nagpoprotestang Lumad upang magpahayag din ng suporta.
“Hindi alam nina Aiza Seguerra, Maine Mendoza, hindi nila alam ung real story. Kung malaman siguro they would have reservations,” ani Kakilala na dumalo sa pagdinig ng House committee on Indigenous Cultural Communities.
Sinabi ni Kakilala na “misinformed” at ‘misled’ sina Yaya Dub at Seguerra.
“They weren’t informed nga eh. They were just there… yung ibang mga Manilakbayan lumads are appealing to them, so ginamit sila. Once they know the real story hindi na sila (magpapagamit),” dagdag pa ng opisyal.
Kumalat sa social media ang litrato ni Yaya Dub na mayroong hawak na fan sign na nagsasabing “We Stand with Lumads #SaveOurSchools”.
Sinabi ni Kakilala na pinasok ng mga rebelde ang mga Lumad at ginagamit ang mga ito upang mag-alsa laban sa gobyerno.
Isa umanong patunay dito ang pagbago ng lyrics ang Lupang Hinirang at ginawang laban sa gobyerno.
