Umabot na sa 1 milyon ang mga beep card na nabili para makasakay sa Light Rail Transit Line 1 at 2, at Metro Rail Transit 3.
Ayon sa AF Payments Inc., ang kompanyang nasa likod ng contactless tap-and-go card, apat na buwan ng ginagamit ang beep card na mabibili sa mga teller sa istasyon, at Ticket Vending Machines.
Unang ginamit ang beep card sa LRT 2 na sinundan ng LRT 1 at pinakahuli ang MRT 3.
Sinabi ni AF Payments CEO Peter Maher na mayroong mga negosasyon upang magamit ang beep card sa pagbabayad sa iba’t ibang transaksyon.
“Our vision is for beep to be part of every Filipinos life. To be able to do this, we are working on getting more establishments to accept the card for top-ups and payment transactions. We believe that this is the future of paying and we are looking forward to see how Filipinos and beep will grow together,” ani Maher.
Ang beep card ay mabibili sa halagang P20 at maaaring lagyan ng P13 hanggang P10,000 load.
