PhilHealth maternity benefit, magkano nga ba?
MAGANDANG araw. Ako si Joselito Ventura ng Sta. Rosa, Laguna. Gusto ko sanang itanong sa PhilHealth kung magkano talaga ang coverage ng maternity. Nung nanganak ang asawa ko noong
Setyembre 2015, P5,000 lamang ang nabawas sa bill namin gamit ang Philhealth ko. Bale P18,000 lahat ang bill namin.
Normal delivery nung manganak ang asawa ko. Magkano talaga ang PhilHealth coverage sa pa-nganganak?

Ikinalulugod po na-ming ipabatid na ang PhilHealth po ay nagbibigay ng benepisyo sa panganganak sa ospital o non-hospital facility (tulad ng lying-in). Ang package po na ito ay tinatawag na Maternity Care Package at Normal Spontaneous Delivery Package. Narito po ang pagkakaiba ng dalawa:
Maternity Care Package (MCP) – This package co-vers the essential health services during antenatal period, entire stages of labor, normal delivery and immediate post-partum period including follow-up visits within the first 72 hours and 1 week after delivery.
Normal Spontaneous Delivery (NSD) Package – This package covers essential health services for normal low risk vaginal deliveries and postpartum period within the first 72 hours and 7 days after delivery.
Ang mga sumusunod ay ang case rate package:
Maternity Care Package (MCP)
P8,000 – Maternity Clinic Deliveries (Non-hospital facilities like infirmaries, dispensaries, birthing homes or lying-in clinics and maternity cli-nics)
P6,500 – Hospital Deliveries
Normal Spontaneous Delivery (NSD)
P6,500 – Maternity Clinic Deliveries (Non-hospital facilities like infirmaries, dispensaries, birthing homes or lying-in clinics and maternity clinics)
P5,000 – Hospital DeliveriesNakapaloob po sa case rate package na ito ang Professional Fee na 40% at ang 60% po ay para sa ospital o facility.
