PCA-ITF Men’s Futures 2 tennis hahataw ngayon

PANGUNGUNAHAN ni Patrick John Tierro ang laban ng mga Filipino netters sa paglarga ng 34th Philippine Columbian Association-Cebuana Lhuillier ITF Men’s Futures 2 ngayon sa PCA clay courts sa Paco, Maynila.

Makakasama ni Tierro sina Johnny Arcilla, Francis Casey Alcantara, Jeson Patrombon at Elbert Anasta na pasok agad sa main draw. Sina Fil-Spaniard Diego Garcia Dalisay, Rolando Ruel at Bryan Otico ay makakalaro matapos malusutan ang qualifying round.

“I’m very excited with this ITF Men’s Futures because it will help our netters gain the much needed experience that will help them in preparation for next year’s Davis Cup matches,” wika ni Cebuana Lhuillier president at CEO Jean Henri Lhuillier.

Sina Tierro, Alcantara, Anasta, Dalisay at Ruel ay nakapaglaro na sa court sa idinaos na PCA Open noong nakaraang buwan at inaasahang makakatulong ito para magamit sa hangaring panalo laban sa mga mahuhusay na dayuhan.

Nangunguna na sa mga foreigners ay si Enrique Lopez-Perez ng Spain bukod pa kina Kento Takeuchi ng Japan at Vinayak Sharma Kaza ng India.

Kasali rin si Makoto Ochi ng Japan na siyang kampeon sa ITF Men’s Futures 1 na ginawa sa Valle Verde sa Pasig City.

Si Tierro, na pumangalawa sa PCA Open, ay nananalig na makakapagbigay ang mga locals ng mas magandang laban.

“Malalakas ang mga kalaban kaya kailangang hundred percent parati sa bawat laro,” wika ni Tierro.
Ang kampeon sa PCA na si Alberto Lim Jr. ay  hindi makakalaro dahil may sakit ito.
