Desisyon ng SET vs Poe lalabas pagkatapos ng deadline ng paghahain ng CoC

NAGDESISYON ng Senate Electoral Tribunal (SET), na siyang dumidinig sa petisyon na inihain laban kay Sen. Grace Poe na maglabas ng desisyon sa Nobyembre 5, ayon sa isang miyembrong senador.
“November 5 was the last agreement in the tribunal,” sabi ni Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III.
Ito’y sa harap naman ng panawagan ni Senate President Franklin Drilon sa SET na agad na maresolba ang kaso.
Umaasa si Drilon na maglalabas ang desisyon ang tribunal bago ang paghahain ng certificates of candidacy (CoC) sa Oktubre 12 at Oktubre 16.
Samantala, sinabi ng kampo ni Poe na wala itong plano na manawagan na palitan ang komposisyon ng SET sa kabila ng pagkuwestiyon sa pagiging patas ng chairman nito na Supreme Court Senior Associate Justice Antonio Carpio.
“It’s how you conduct yourself, that’s important,” sabi ni Sotto.
