PNP HPG pinalitan na ang MMDA sa pagtatrapik sa EDSA
ITINALAGA ni Pangulong Aquino ang PNP Highway Patrol Group (HPG) na siya nang mangangasiwa ng trapik sa EDSA na dating pangunahing trabaho ng Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA).
Sinabi ni Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) head Secretary Herminio “Sonny” Coloma na magbibigay na lamang ng suporta ang MMDA, Land Transportation Office (LTO), Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB).
“After a meeting presided over by the President, it was agreed that priority action will be taken to clear six major intersections that are traffic congestion choke points along EDSA namely: Balintawak; Cubao; Ortigas; Shaw Boulevard; Guadalupe; and Taft ave.,” sabi ni Coloma.
