Nakaka-relate si Coleen Garcia sa role niya bilang med rep na hindi maka-move on sa ex boyfriend niya sa movie na “Ex With Benefits.”
“Ako po, ‘yung part na nakakarelate ako kay Arkisha is when she went through something ten years ago that really hurt her and damaged her so much and it just made her shut herself out and she closed the entire world. Naging bato siya,” sey ng dalaga.
“And I guess it’s something that I can relate to because nahihirapan ako na makaramdam ng emotions or mag-express ng emotion sa ibang tao. I never cry in front of anybody because I have to be strong for so many people. So, nakarating na rin ako sa point na naging bato na rin ako. I tend to shut myself out from the world also. ‘Yun ‘yung downfall ko in a way,” dagdag pa niya.
Pero ang ipinagkaiba nila ay marunong siyang mag-let go, “It was so hard of her to let go of her past, to let go of Adam, to let go of the problems she had to face ten years ago. It reached a point na ten years into the future ay hindi pa rin siya nakaka-let go, hindi pa siya nakaka-move on. Ako naman naniniwala ako na kailangan mong mag-let go, kailangan mong mag-move on sa lahat ng bagay.”
