“IT’S nice to be important but it’s more important to be nice!”

Narito ang kabuuan ng mahabang post ni Kris: “People in public life live under a magnifying glass. And it’s something I trained myself to live with.

“My mom always reminded me ‘to whom much is given, much is expected in return.’ I think, I am PROUD of, is regardless of all the criticism hurled at me and my family, nobody can ever say na nag-POWER TRIP kami.

“Earlier today while in line to check in at the PAL Mabuhay Counter at the Suvarnbhumi Airport in Bangkok, respectful of the space of the 2 men in front of us, na shock ako when as they were existing, I was told, ‘Get out of this fu***king way because I want to get out of this fu***ing country.

“Di ko sila hinaharangan, nakapila kami properly, I chose to keep my dignity and didn’t reply.

“Sobrang stressful that when my sons and I got to the plane, they were seated near us, I just prayed that sana hindi na sila magpaka-BASTOS and my sons and I just get back to Manila safely.

“I was actually with in my rights if you think about it na makipagmurahan, since unprovoked ‘yung pagmura nila directed at me…but what for?

“Sobrang daling mabaliktad ang kuwento and the ‘haters’ will find a way to make it appear na ako ‘yung masama. But headed home in traffic now anf realizing that God saw what happened and somehow my (by) turning the other cheek must account for some good girl points.

“And when I was asked by some PAL crew to go to the gallery to have pics (picture) with them, I did get up and posed, regardless of my stress before boarding and during the flight.

“So the point of this is, we all have our burdens, we have difficulties, but it is character that defines how we carry them. And it is conducting your life with DIGNITY that will help you live a life of PEACE.”

Sabi ni Kris sa kanyang IG account, “Super INIT (imagine 37 degrees Celsius but w/ major LIGHTING, as in quadruple what we’d be using back home) but these Filipina teachers accepted the casting call to be part of the TVC’s audience because they wanted to see me, lugi pa sila kasi transportation to get to the location cost more than their talent fee. SUPER TOUCHING ang EFFORT NILA!”
