Mona Louise kailangang magtrabaho para magamot ang diabetes

Ang hirap ng buhay ni Mona Louise Rey. Returning to TV is the other wunderkind child of GMA, si Mona Louise playing My BFF to another child wonder Jillian Ward in the new GMA early primetime soap of the same title before 24 Oras.

Piloting this June 23 together with Manilyn Reynes, Janno Gibbs, Leandro Baldemor, Pen Medina and Valerie Concepcion, magkasing-edad pala sina Mona at Jillian both at 9 years old.

Pero kung grade three pa lang si Jillian, si Mona, grade 5 na. At hamak na mas mataas si Jillian kay Mona. May sakit nga kasi si Mona as everyone knows, juvenile diabetes.

Once or twice a day, kailangan niyang mag inject ng insulin, either sa kamay niya or sa pigi niya. Mas madalas sa hindi, siya na lang ang nagi-inject nito specially when she’s at school and her insulin level gets down but once in a while, ang mommy niya pa rin ang nagi-inject nito sa kaniya.

Minsan din daw, once lang siya saksakan ng insulin depende nga sa kaniyang level although mas madalas twice a day. It’s maybe because of this that her height is giving her some problem but Mona Louise doesn’t mind it all.

Tanggap na ng bata na may sakit siya and unlike those with affliction, never siyang naging down about her illness and in fact, never nga siyang naging down enough not to work.

Nagpapasalamat pa si Mona Louise that she has continuous job dahil hindi naman mura ang gamot niya for her diabetes and her salary helps a lot.
