Tambalang Elmo-Janella walang ‘magic’ noon, pero nagkadebelopan daw sa Japan

SA grand presscon ng upcoming TV series nina Elmo Magalona at Janella Salvador ay natanong ang creative manager ng Dreamscape Entertainment na si Ms. Reggie Amigo kung bakit ang awitin ni David Pomeranz na “Born For You” ang napiling titulo ng programa.

“Ang Born For You is talking about destiny, kasi ‘yung title is alam na alam mong destined sila sa isa’t isa, para sa ‘yo ako,” paliwanag ni Ms. Reggie.

Nabanggit din nito na tinawagan daw muna ng management ang recording company ni Mr. Pomeranz para makausap siya at nu’ng nalaman daw ng singer-composer na gagamiting titulo ang “Born For You” sa TV ay pumayag agad at pumayag pa siyang kunan ng video habang kumakanta na ipinakikita sa teaser ng serye ng ElNella na mapapanood na sa Hunyo 20.

Samantala, naikuwento ng headwriter ng Born For You na si Benedict Migue na bago sila lumipad patungong Japan ay hindi nila nakikitaan ng chemistry sina Elmo at Janella kaya kailangan talaga ng effort para mag-swak sila.

“Eventually po na-enjoy namin ‘yung company nila sa Japan. At first, when we were making this as creative we should see kung may chemistry, at first it was an effort kasi hindi pa namin nakikita. But when we went to Japan, nagulat kami, sabi namin, okay ‘to, madadali ang buhay (taping) natin,” ani Benedict.

Naka-relate kami sa sinabi niya na nu’ng una ay hindi nga nakitaan ng chemistry sina Elmo at Janella at parang waley kaming naramdamang kilig. Pero nu’ng napanood na namin ang ElNella sa Japan scenes lalo na nu’ng nagkasalubong sila sa Shibuya Crossings, nagulat kami dahil ang lakas pala ng dating nila on screen.

Sa fans ng ElNella, abangan n’yo ang Born For You sa Lunes, dahil mala-On The Wings Of Love rin ang tema at feel nito.
