MISMONG ang “Disney Princess” ng Pilipinas na si Lea Salonga ang naging special guest sa ginanap na press launch ng pagsasanib-pwersa ng Globe Telecom at Walt Disney Company Southeast Asia.
Ang nasabing collaboration ay magbibigay-daan sa Pinoy customers na magkaroon ng access sa video-on-demand, interactive content, promotions at iba pang kaugnay na serbisyo sa lahat ng multiple devices at pinagtitibay ang ugnayan ng Globe sa Disney na ang mga brand ay kinabibilangan ng Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars at global leader sa short-form video, Maker Studios.
Ang mga Globe customer ay magkakaroon na ng access sa Disney content offerings, kabilangang long and short-form programming, interactive content at games, theatrical releases at retail promotions.
Kabilang dito ang Disney Movies On Demand: isang on-demand subscription service para sa mga piling evergreen Disney at Pixar titles tulad ng “Toy Story” franchise, “Finding Nemo”, “The Princess Diaries”, “Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmas”, “Cinderella” at marami pang iba, na maaaring mapanood sa anumang device, anumang oras at saan mang lugar.
Meron ding Disney On Demand – para sa mga piling Disney TV favorites tulad ng Mickey Mouse Clubhouse; Maker On Demand – na tinatampukan ng pinakamagagandang short-form videos mula sa portfolio ng Maker Studios, kabilang ang gaming, comedy, music, sports, fashion at family.
May Disney Channel apps din ito na magbibigay access sa Disney Channel, Disney Junior at Disney XD. Ang mga bata at buong pamilya ay makakapanood sa lahat ng tatlong Disney Channels sa pamamagitan ng digital destination na ito.

Samantala, mas pinasaya naman ni Lea Salonga ang nasabing event nang pumagitna na siya sa stage at kumanta ng mga sikat na Disney theme songs tulad ng “Gone The Distance” (Hercules), “Reflection” (Mulan), “A Whole New World” (Aladdin), at “Let It Go” (Frozen).
Nagsilbing host naman ng event si Issa Litton.
Speaking of Lea, isa siya sa milyun-milyong Pinoy na nagdarasal at umaasa na maiuuwi ni Gerphil Flores ang titulong Asia’s Got Talent grand champion bukas.
Bilib na bilib si Lea sa talent ni Gerphil na tinawag pa niyang “incredibly talented.” Sa kanyang Twitter account, sinabi pa nitong, “Whatever happens at AGT, know that you are incredibly talented with a voice that could’ve only come from the heavens.”
Dagdag pa nito sa kanyang Twitter post, “Now is your time, Gerphil. Run with it!!!”
