GOOD Day!
I have an employee who has attended an occupational safety seminar for construction workers conducted by OSH Center. Can this employee in turn conduct the same training for our other workers?
He already has modules and he knows other safety measurements based on the training he undertook.
Thanks for attending to my querries.

REPLY: Dear Ms. Alvarez,
Thank you for your initiatives on worker safety and health. What safety seminar has your employee taken? Is it the one-day Construction Safety Orientation or the mandatory 40-hour Construction Safety Training (CST)? The CST is required for all safety officers in the construction industry and each construction company, including all subcontractors must employ a sufficient number of trained safety officers depending on the number of workers.
If one of your employees has undergone the CST, he/she can share his/her learnings to the other workers. However they will not receive the same certificate as the one who has taken the training at OSHC.
If you wish to have more of your workers certified, you can send them to attend our training or to our accredited private safety training organizations (STOs).
The list of all accredited STOs and their contact numbers can be found on our website – www.oshc.dole.gov.ph.
For other inquiries, please feel free to contact us at telephone numbers: (02) 924-2414 and (02) 927-0926.
