KRIS AQUINO AT BOY ABUNDA
Weeks before nang pagra-rally ni Nora Aunor ay nakausap namin si Boy Abunda at kinunan nang pahayag sa sunud-sunod na malalaking bira kay Kris Aquino at sa kanyang kuya na si Presidente Noynoy. Bungad sa amin ni Kuya Boy, confident pa rin siya na malalampasan ng magkapatid ang kaliwa’t kanang isyu na ibinabato sa kanila.
“Kris Aquino is unique, she is alone in her throne. Ang tanong kasi, ang premise, nakalampas na ba si Kris? Ang daming pinagdaanan ni Kris. You know I have a friend who told me once, ‘Alam mo pakisabi sa kaibigan mo she’s so blessed. She’s bullet-proof,” kwento ni Kuya Boy.
Tandaan daw na may core na pinanggalingan si Kris, “You may say anything to Kris. You may like her, you may dislike her. But the principal core kasi of Kris is good. You know, part of her nature is generosity. Part of her nature is forgiveness. Part of her nature is kindness. Part of her nature is goodness,” sabi ng King of Talk.
Kris is not perfect gaya rin ng karamihan. Pero ang mahalaga ay ang nilalaman ng puso.
“There are things that you will like about her. There are things that you wouldn’t like about me. There are things that I wouldn’t like about you, you know. So, Kris will, ayaw ko sanang manggaling ‘to sa akin because I’m her best friend. Pero she will survive anything and the biggest tool, the biggest armor of Kris is her heart. She wears it in her sleeves,” diin niya.
With regards to P-Noy na nasa hotseat dahil sa Mamapasano incident, tiwala si Kuya Boy that the President can handle all the issues against him.
“Sino bang Presidente ang walang pinagdaanan na ganoon? You know, when you get in that position, because remember now Noy is on his fifth year as President. How many people in this country, among a hundred million people have been given a chance to become a President? So, rightfully, he is now one of the most experienced Presidents of this country. Kasi hindi naman natin nararamdaman kung paano maging Presidente,” lahad niya.
Dugtong pa ni kuya Boy, “So, ang tanong mo is with all the threats, with the Mamasapano problem, I’ll be more specific, with the Bangsamoro basic law controversy, with the coup d’ etat rumors, with the conflicts that are being presented by his very family – with Tingting and Peping Cojuangco, all these are peripheral. These are included in the story of politics. The President in his position, I should say is equipped to handle all these things.”
