NOW it can be told. It was for a good reason kaya Derek Ramsay politely turned down Kris Aquino’s invitation na ma-meet nang personal si Pope Francis who left the country yesterday.
Derek, a known close friend of Kris, was invited by the Queen of Talk para sa once-in-a-lifetime chance na makasama ang Santo Papa but he politely said not.
Why, oh, why would Derek do that? It was because Derek’s dad is sick. The hunk actor felt that he was needed by his father more now that he had a mild stroke.
He was thankful sa imbitasyon ni Kris pero hindi niya kayang iwan ang kanyang ama lalo pa’t maselan ang kondisyon nito.
Ang nasulat, merong carotid disease ang ama ni Derek.
Derek is painting a scenario na makaama siya, that he cares a lot for his father. Wasn’t it only a few months ago that Derek was painted negatively by his wife, that he is pabayang ama because it took him eight years to finally acknowledge na anak nga niya ang batang isinilang ng kanyang asawa?
Hindi ba’t ang daming lumabas na isyung pinabayaan niya ang kanyang anak? Anyway, Kris had a grand time with the Pope during his visit in the country. Pati sa Holy Mass nito sa Luneta Grandstand ay hindi niya pinalampas.
Before the mass, hindi nga napigilan ni Kris na kumuha ng picture sa kanyang mga anak na sina Joshua and Bimby kasama ang brother niyang si President Noynoy Aquino.
As usual, Kris had it posted on her Instagram account with this caption: “Picture was taken before Mass started. I really obeyed when it was announced that no pictures please during Mass.
“When I was about to take the picture P-Noy said, ‘Instagram na naman?’ I said please pagbigyan na ko, super cute naman the 3 of them, and it’s a mother’s joy to take pics of her sons.
“And anyway no signal in Luneta, so late upload.”
