Mapapanood ang limang entries mula Dec. 16 hanggang 24 sa SM Megamall at Glorietta 4 cinemas.
Sa interview kay Metro Manila Film Festival chairperson Francis Tolentino na siya ring namumuno sa taunang filmfest (huling taon na niya sa MMFF), umaasa itong mas magiging matagumpay ang filmfest ngayong taon.
“We place in one room together all the bright minds of cinema for them to come up with a beautiful film. I dream of that day when we will have a yearly cinema fair where we will meet together and come out not as competitors but as friends for a more dynamic Philippine film industry.
“We are laying the groundwork. I look forward to the day when the Philippine movie industry is one; hindi na Kapuso, hindi na Kapamilya…may iisang camera dahil may iisang direksiyon.”
