WE’RE not used to watching soap operas nowadays because we feel that most teleseryes are IDIOTICALLY-WRITTEN and BADLY-ACTED.

Sayang ang kuryente, no!

It was as if ganyan kasasama ang mga Pinoy.

We just don’t know how network executives tolerate this paulit-ulit na tema ng mga teleserye. Parang wala silang sawa factor. Maybe it is because that’s what they are paid to do.

No offense meant ha, but that’s how we see teleseryes nowadays. The best soap operas that we saw was years ago. First was Julie Vega’s Anna Liza and Janice de Belen’s Flordeluna.

Then came Mexicanovelas starring Thalia. After that, we enjoyed Claudine Barretto’s and of course Judy Ann Santos’ hit teleseryes.

One GMA soap, the title of which escaped us, which had Eddie Garcia as bida kasama sina Sharmaine Arnaiz and Princess Punzalan, was also a favorite. (That was Kung Mawawala Ka, mare. – Ed).

And later on, another GMA’s My Husband’s Lover. Since we’re not watching soaps anymore, medyo nasa-shock lang kami when we see items about popular soaps na hindi pinapasok ng commercials.

There’s one which recently caught our eye. Well, that’s according to one Facebook fan page that we browsed recently. True ba ito?

Does it make sense na si Angel na merong maraming commercials ay hindi masyadong tinatangkilik ng advertisers ang kanyang sariling TV show?

Don’t make us watch her newest soap because we won’t do that. As we’ve said, we’re not used to watching soaps of MEDIOCRE proportion!
