Binoe Best Actor, Maricel Best Actress sa MMFF 2013; 10,000 hours Best Picture

TALAGANG sinuswerte ang Aling Maliit na si Ryzza Mae Dizon, ‘no! Imagine, number one na sa takilya ang entry nila sa MMFF 2013 na “My Little Bossings”, nanalo pa siya bilang Best Child Performer sa katatapos lang na gabi ng parangal na ginanap noong Biyernes sa Meralco Theater.

Naglaban-laban sa mga ipinamigay na tropeo ng MMFF ang walong official entries – “10,000 Hours”, “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy”, “Kimmy Dora: Ang Kiyemeng Prequel”, “Pagpag”, “San Pedro Calungsod Batang Martir”, “Shoot To Kill: Boy Golden”, “Kaleidoscope World” at ito ngang “My Little Bossings”.

Bukod dito, naglaban-laban din ang limang indie films, limang animated shorts, at tatlong student-made shorts sa ilalim ng New Wave category.

Narito ang mga nagwagi sa New Wave category: Animation Jury Prize, “Ang Lalong Ni Kulakog”; New Wave Short Film Best Picture, “Ang Paglisan”; New Wave Student Short Film Special Jury Prize, “#NoFilter” (Mapua Institute of Technology); Best New Wave Film, “Dukit” ni Armando Lao; Best New Wave Film Director, Armando Lao (Dukit).

New Wave Best Actress naman si Agot Isidro; New Wave Best Actors, Wilfredo Layug, Bor Ocampo, Bambalito Lacap para sa “Dukit”; New Wave Special Jury Prize, “Mga Anino ng Kahapon”; New Wave Best Picture, “Dukit”; New Wave Most Gender-Sensitive Film, “Island Dreams” ni Aloy Adlawan.

Para sa mainstream category narito ang kumpletong listahan ng mga nagwagi: Best Float Award, “Boy Golden”; Youth Choice Award, “Pagpag”; Best Child Performer, Ryzza Mae Dizon (My Little Bossings); Best Festival Sound Recording, “10,000 Hours”; Best Musical Score, “10,000 Hours”; Best Visual Effects, “10,000 Hours”; Best Production Design, “10,000 Hours”; Best Make-up, “Pagpag”; Best Original Theme Song, “My Little Bossings”; Best Editor, Maria Ignacio (10,000 Hours); Best Cinematography, “10,000 Hours”.

Nakuha rin ng “10,000 Hours” ang FPJ Memorial Award for Excellence. Binigyan naman ng Special Recognition Award si Ronnie Ricketts ng Optical Media Board habang Most Gender-Sensitive Film naman ang “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” directed by Wenn Deramas.

Waging Male Star of the Night si Daniel Padilla at Female Star of the Night naman si Eugene Domingo. Nakuha pa rin ng “10,000 Hours” ang Best Original Story, Best Screenplay, Best Director para kay Joyce Bernal, Best Supporting Actor para kay Pen Medina, Gat Puno Antonio Villegas Cultural Award, 1st Best Picture at Best Actor para kay Robin Padilla.

Best Supporting Actress naman si Aiza Seguerra para sa “My Little Bossings” na nanalo rin bilang 3rd Best Picture. Naiuwi naman ang 2nd Best Picture ng “Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy” kung saan nanalo ring Best Actress si Maricel Soriano.
