KASABAY ng pagtatapos ng 2024 ay ang announcement ng actress-vlogger na si Riva Quenery na tapos na rin ang relasyon nila ng social media personality na si Vern Ong.
Sa kanilang shared Instagram post nitong Lunes, December 30, inamin ng vlogger na ilang buwan na silang hiwalay ng longtime boyfriend.
Ayon sa joint statement nina Riva at Vern, “With 2025 coming to a close, we’ve been thinking a lot about new beginnings.
“We want to take a moment to address our relationship status. As many of you may have noticed, we are no longer together. We broke up a few months ago. However, we remain on good terms and continue to co-parent Athena.”

Naiintindihan raw nina Riva at Vern kung marami ang magugulat sa kanilang paghihiwalay dahil hindi naman nila ibinabahago maski sa mga malalapit na kaibigan ang mga struggles nila as a couple.1
“We don’t want Athena to grow up in a toxic environment. Every decision we make is for her, so no one has the right to say that we don’t consider her well-being.
“We loved each other deeply and genuinely believed we were destined to marry, but parting ways is essential for both of us to grow,” dagdag pa nina Riva at Vern.
