EXCITED nang umuwi dito sa ating bansa ang ating pambato sa Miss Universe na si Chelsea Manalo!
Babalik na siya dito sa Pilipinas bukas, December 9, matapos manatili sa Los Angeles sa United States after ng kanyang laban sa 73rd Miss Universe competition na ginanap sa Mexico noong November 17.
Hindi man nakuha ni Chelsea ang korona ay siya naman ang itinanghal na first-ever continental queen na Miss Universe Asia.
“I’m excited, and looking forward to being around the whole fans again, being with my friends, with my family in the Philippines, and to celebrate the victory, the history that we have, the title that we have for the Philippines as Miss Universe Asia,” sey niya.
Nabanggit pa nga niya na miss na miss na rin niya ang pagkaing Pinoy, ang klima sa ating bansa, pati na rin syempre ang kanyang mga kababayan.

“Our culture is really different, being Filipino. Now I can feel, and be more proud to say, how Filipinos are, what they always tell about us,” paliwanag niya.
Patuloy pa ni Chelsea, “In Miss Universe, a lot of girls told me they’ve been to the Philippines, they love the Filipino people, they love our culture. And now I understand why. That is why I miss our weather, our food, and of course, how hospitable we are towards people. I miss those.”
Nang hingan naman siya ng reaksyon tungkol sa iuuwi niyang continental title.
Ang sey niya, “It’s such an honor, not just for the country, but for me to represent the Philippines. I hope I did everybody proud.”
Chika pa ni Chelsea, “If we have projects in different continents as well, we can travel with the other queens. I did hear that we will be traveling to Thailand next year, there’s no month yet, and also in Europe around May or June.”
Ang Miss Universe Philippines ay maglulunsad ng homecoming parade para kay Chelsea bago ang Pasko.
Bukod diyan ay nakatakda rin siyang magkaroon ng press conference at ilan pang media guestings.
