VERY challenging at talagang kakaiba sa mga dating pelikula.
Ganyan inilarawan nina Star for All Seasons Vilma Santos at award-winning actress Nadine Lustre ang kanilang gagampanan sa Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2024 entry na “Uninvited.”
Sa naganap na grand launch ng upcoming movie, inamin ni Nadine na bukod sa first time niyang ma-experience ang karakter sa upcoming film ay malayong-malayo rin daw ito sa tunay niyang ugali.

“It’s hard because Nicole and I are polar opposites. Nicole is kind of extreme. She is rich, and she engages in all kinds of vices. And she has this hatred towards her dad and what ever happened in her life. While, me, I’m just chill,” paliwanag niya sa entertainment press.
Gayunpaman, ang tanging pagkakapareho raw nila ni Nicole ay pareho silang palaban.
“It is a huge change from all the roles I have done before. Everyone knows me from romcoms and dramas. My roles are always mabait na anak, palaban, pero mabait,” sey niya.
Kwento pa ni Nadine, “This time, I was able to explore and try a different side of acting. I wanted you to see ano pa kaya ko gawin. Sobrang extreme from my previous characters—something I always wanted to do.”
Pagbubunyag naman ni Ate Vi, na-pressure siya nang tanggapin ang main role sa pelikula, lalo na’t siya ang nagwaging Best Actress last year sa MMFF matapos bumida sa “When I Met You In Tokyo.”
“It’s been hard for me to find a role that will be suitable for my age and the role that will challenge me because, in my more than 62 years in the industry, I feel like I’ve already done every role and most of the characters appear to be repetitive. But with ‘Uninvited’ and my role, I feel I was somehow challenged,” saad niya.
Ang “Uninvited” ay mula sa direksyon ni Dan Villegas na umiikot sa isang 24-hour party na puno ng sikreto, paghihiganti at kababalaghan.
Ito ay produced by Mentorque Productions, ang producer ng MMFF 2023 hit na “Mallari,” at sa pakikipagtulungan ng Project 8 Projects at Warner Bros. Pictures.
Bukod kina Nadine at Vilma, bibida rin diyan si Aga Muhlach, pati na rin sina Mylene Dizon, Lotlot de Leon, RK Bagatsing, Ketchup Eusebio, Elijah Canlas, Gabby Padilla, at marami pang iba.
Ang upcoming film ay mapapanood sa mga lokal na sinehan simula December 25.
