Pinalagan ni Georgina Wilson ang speech ni President Noynoy Aquino who said na hindi naman aabot ng 10,000 ang mga nasawi sa typhoon Yolanda.
Matapang ang naging pahayag ni Georgina sa kanyang Twitter account. Talagang kinontra niya ang statement ni P-Noy.
“I don’t know why Pnoy on CNN is focusing on the official death toll being 2,000 and saying that 10,000 could be wrong and exaggerated,” una niyang tweet.
Then, she explained why she arrived at her opinion, “First: theres no way that we could possibly tell how many people have actually died-there are bodies in the water, piled up under debris etc.” she tweeted.
“Second: Under declaring deaths might also deter more foreign aid pledges. Confused why it was so impt for him to focus on that. Doesnt help,” pahabol pa niyang explanation. Yolanda affected 9.8 Million people.
It doesnt make sense that it only brought a total of 2000-2500 deaths. Impossible to know at this point,” dagdag pa na matapang na model.
“Anyway back to the more important issue: getting relief goods to the victims. People are getting desperate – lets act as fast as possible,” sabi niya.
