CONSISTENT ang body-shamers sa pamba-bash at panlalait sa katawan ng celebrity mom na si Andi Eigenmann.
Kaya naman sa recent Instagram post ng aktres, siya ay naglabas ng kanyang saloobin patungkol diyan.
Inamin ni Andi na naaapektuhan siya sa tuwing bina-bash ang kanyang pisikal na katawan, lalo na kapag sinasabihan siyang pinabayaan na niya ang kanyang sarili.
“I try my best to focus on sustainable choices that nourish my body from the inside out. And I’ve always liked to encourage others that this is a great route, not only for ourselves but the [world emoji] we live in as well,” bungad niya sa IG, kalakip ang maganda niyang portrait photo.
Patuloy niya, “So yes, of course, it affects me when people on the internet say that I seem to have ‘let myself go’.”

Kasunod niyan, nagkaroon din siya ng sariling opinyon patungkol sa media-driven standards na hindi niya sinasang-ayunan.
“Oftentimes we perceive the changes in our appearance that come naturally as we age, as an equivalent to letting oneself go. But I think true beauty is personal, and should reflect our individual values,” sambit niya.
Aniya pa, “I’d like to embrace every physical change as markers of my journey through this life, and to celebrate the wisdom that comes with age. Afterall, to grow old is a privilege.”

Kung matatandaan last year, ibinandera ni Andi ang kanyang fitness journey na kung saan ay sa loob ng dalawang taon nabawasan ng mahigit 50 pounds ang timbang niya.
Sinabi rin niya na hindi naging madali para sa isang nanay na tulad niya ang magpapayat, lalo pa’t hands-on siya sa pag-aalaga sa kanyang pamilya.
Nabanggit din ni Andi na pangarap niyang maging isang certified nutritionist para makatulong sa lahat ng nagnanais na pumayat at maging malusog sa tamang paraan at sustainable fitness journey.
