“Hi Rachel. Per our phone conversation, on behalf of the team at (undisclosed film company) we’d love to move forward and present you with the following official offer to play the below role in the film,” ang nakasulat sa ipinadalang mensahe sa kanya ng casting director.

“Submitted an audition video (wearing no makeup) for a role as a Filipina mom of one of the main teenage characters in an upcoming feature film and was so happy to learn I got the part,” ang caption naman ni Rachel sa kanyang IG post.

“Excited for the shoot tomorrow and happy that slowly but surely, though we definitely have a long way to go, more Asian stories are starting to be told in cinema,” sabi ni Rachel.

“As in sinubukan ko talaga how it is to be a background actor which means extra. I’d never done work like that in the Philippines. It was on a TV show called The Good Fight on CBS,” kuwento ni Rachel Alejandro.
