“I don’t see it that I’m depriving myself of not having time for my personal life, but on the contrary… pero iba kasi ang description ko ng personal life ko eh, yung naka-boxer shorts lang ako.

“I had a busy schedule but naghanap po kami talaga ng time so I can be free to shoot this movie with my Mama. I lost my own mother 15 years ago and now, I found a new Mama.

“I felt a strong connection with her and she helped me relived my past moments with my own mom before I joined showbiz,” aniya.

“Initially, I was intimidated kasi she’s the Megastar. But Day One pa lang, when we met sa workshop, all the walls got broken so easily.

“Off cam, I feel so relaxed with her. She makes me feel that I can be myself with her. It’s a dream come true to have worked with her. It’s awesome,” sabi ni Alden.

Dagdag pa ng binata, “Nagkaroon talaga ng mother and son connection between us kaya naman our scenes together are so natural, so effortless.

“She was really very supportive, along with our screen writer, Ms. Mel (del Rosario), and Direk Nuel (Naval). I felt very comfortable with all of them and this made the shoot so enjoyable,” sabi ni Alden.

Paglalarawan naman niya sa kanyang karakter sa “Family of Two”, “I play Mateo and my mom’s name is Maricar. She raised me all by herself after she lost my dad when I was only five years old.

“So, all my  life, kami lang talaga ang magkasama and we’re so attached to each other. Our relationship is tested when I was assigned to work abroad.  We have become so protective of each other so there’s the challenge of separation.

All the more so kasi nagka-girlfriend ako, na ginagampanan po ni Miles (Ocampo),” sey pa niya.

“Naging matchmaker ako in trying to find the right guy for her. Mina-match ko siya to guys like Tonton Gutierrez, Soliman Cruz. But eventually, she finds that she’s enjoying her own freedom being by herself, going out with her own friends like Jackielou Blanco,” kuwento pa ng binata.

“Whole families can watch it together as we are Rated G, for general patronage. It’s message is about family and love. Parents and children can relate with the story, specially single parents who heroically raised their children all by themselves.

“It’s also about children who will do everything to make their parents happy,” dagdag pa ng aktor.

Showing na ang “Family of Two” sa December 25 sa lahat ng sinehan nationwide.
