SA hindi inaasahang panahon, nabigyan si Andrea del Rosario ng isang malaking karangalan nang ma-appoint siyang Mrs. Philippines Tourism ambassadress.
Tuwang-tuwa ang star ng “Dirty Linen” sa hindi niya inaasahang biyaya.
Sa kanyang Instagram account, itsinika ni Andrea na gumaganap bilang lover ni Leona (Janice de Belen) sa “Dirty Linen” ang kanyang kasiyahan via a short video.
“Recently, they gave me this wonderful recognition as Mrs. Philippines Tourism ambassadress. ‘Di ko naman alam na lalagyan ako ng crown, sash and all but it was a wonderful surprise.
“Yes, I am so, so happy and very honored. I was super happy, ecstatic because, you know, siyempre, prestigious naman ‘yung event na ‘yun,” she said in her video.
“I wasn’t able to talk in the stage. Like what I said, hindi ko naman alam na lalagyan nila ako ng sash, crown,” chika pa niya.
With this, gagawin niya ang lahat para sa kanyang bagong role.
“So yeah, I am a mom, a wife, a proud citizen of this country so I guess I am very, very happy to take on the responsibility guys as your Mrs. Tourism Philippines ambassadress and I promise to promote, share the wonders of this wonderful place we call home, the Philippines from its natural resources to our vibrant culture and history,” say niya.
“As a mom who values or knows the importance of creating beautiful memories so that’s how we’ll gonna encourage people from other parts of the world or guests from other countries to come here and build those beautiful memories here in our country.
“That’s how we’re gonna promote the Philippines. How we’re gonna do that, I guess from our advocacies that the organization is gonna come up with or ‘yung event that they’ll gonna come up with,” dagdag pa niya.
Hindi man naging ganap na beauty queen, alam n’yo bang sumali si Andrea sa Ms. Earth 20 years ago pero hindi siya nagwagi?
“After Mr. Earth I joined Viva from ABS-CBN. Alam n’yo naman ang history, naging Viva Hot Babes, and it’s just know na I, you know, was able to experience this.
“Nakakaaliw, o, ‘di ba? Ewan ko kung pageant material ako but thank you guys, anyway,” she said
