IPINAGTANGGOL ng pop superstar na si Selena Gomez ang American model at social media personality na si Hailey Bieber.

‘Yan ay sa kabila ng mga tsismis na matagal nang may alitan sa isa’t-isa ang dalawa.

Naglabas ng pahayag si Selena sa pamamagitan ng Instagram Stories at nanawagan siya sa fans na itigil na ang pambu-bully kay Hailey.

Nakuwento din ng singer na nagkausap sila ni Hailey at sinabing nakakatanggap na ito ng “death threats.”

“Hailey Bieber reached out to me and let me know that she has been receiving death threats and such hateful negativity,” post ni Selena sa IG Story.

Giit pa niya, “This isn’t what I stand for. No one should have to experience hate or bullying.”

Aniya pa, “I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop [red heart emoji].”

Matapos ng naging pahayag ni Selena, lubos na nagpasalamat si Hailey sa pagdepensa sa kanya ng singer.

Nabanggit din ng model na ilang beses na silang nag-uusap ni Selena upang makapag-move on na sa mga kontrobersiyang kinasasangkutan nila.

Saad ni Hailey sa IG Story, “The last few weeks have been very hard for everyone involved and millions of people are seeing so much hate around this which is extremely harmful.” 

Patuloy niya, “While social media is an incredible way to connect and build community, moments like this only create extreme division instead of bringing people together.”

“Things can always be taken out of context or construed differently than they are intended,” dagdag pa niya.

Panawagan din ng socmed personality, “We all need to be more thoughtful about what we post and what we say, including myself.”

“In the end, l believe love will always be bigger than hate and negativity, and there is always an opportunity to meet each other with more empathy and compassion,” aniya.
