IN FAIRNESS, maituturing na ring ideal couple ang mag-asawang John Estrada at Priscilla Meirelles sa entertainment industry dahil sa tagal na rin ng kanilang pagsasama.
Ngayong February, 2023 nagse-celebrate sina John at Priscilla ng kanilang 12th wedding anniversary at siyempre looking forward sila sa mas marami pang taong anibersaryo patungo ss kanilang “forever.”
Ibinahagi ng Kapamilya actor sa Instagram last February 27, ang kanyang anniversary message para sa kanyang Brazilian wifey at dating beauty queen na tinawag pa niyang “the love of my life.”
Ani John sa caption, “The song (I’d Rather) says it all (red heart emoji).
“Just cant thank you enough for what uv done for the two of us for the past 15 years now, 3 years dating, and 12 years married, and now we are three.
“Thank you for being the perfect partner that anyone could wish for. I love you my love, happy 12th year anniversary to us,” ang pagbati pa ng aktor kay Priscilla.
“Anyway, baka nagtataka kayo bat to ang kanta na pinili ko, kasi kasama to sa wedding vow ko sa kanya, yun lang naman. #theloveofmylife,” pahayag pa ni John.
Sa IG post naman ni Priscilla, makikita sila ni John na magkasamang ipinagdiwang ang kanilang wedding anniversary sa isang hotel sa BGC with their only daughter last February 27.
Sabi ng actress-beauty queen “Marriage is a relationship in which one is always right and the other is the husband.
“Happy Wedding Anniversary to us. We survived for the past 12 years,” ang mensahe pa ni Miss Earth 2004.
Bumuhos naman ang pagbati sa mag-asawa mula sa kanilang IG followers at friends sa showbiz tulad nina Joseph Marco, Ara Mina, Cherry Pie Picache, Julia Montes, Michael Flores at marami pang iba.
Ikinasal ang mag-asawa sa isang beach sa La Union noong 2011 at biniyayaan ng anak nu’ng sumunod na taon, si Anechka.
Sa isang panayam, naibahagi ni Priscilla kung anong feeling ng pagkakaroon ng Filipino husband.
“I’m married and I believe in the eyes of Lord I should always honor my husband. So yung surname niya is Estrada so one of the reasons why I stayed in the country is because I’m married.
“So of course I need to honor the surname that I carried and that’s the surname that my daughter carries. I think that’s a why of dignifying him, honoring him and showing also that I’m proud to be able to earn that so why not?
“But in general I think it’s just that it’s easier to pronounce yung talagang totoong name ko na yun ng buong buhay. I don’t plan to change that. I’m proud to be married to a Pinoy.
“This is the country that embraced me, that loved me and that brings a smile to my heart so why not honor that and be proud to say that I’m an Estrada,” aniya pa.
