HINDI in-expect ng actress-singer na si Nadine Lustre na siya ang tatanghaling Best Actress sa katatapos lamang na Metro Manila Film Festival 2022 Gabi ng Parangal.
Wagi ang dalaga para sa horror-suspense na “Deleter” mula sa Viva Films na siya ring nanalong Best Picture (para kay Mikhail Red) sa naganap na awards night kagabi sa New Frontier Theater sa Araneta City, Cubao, Quezon City.
Sa kanyang acceptance speech, sinabi ni Nadine na bonus na lang daw ang napanalunan niyang award dahil ang pinakamahalaga raw sa lahat ay nagustuhan ng mga manonood ang kanilang entry.
“I think second to the last shoot namin, that’s when they told us na ilalagay siya sa MMFF. So we didn’t know how to feel to be honest kasi MMFF is such a big thing.
“But we’re really, really happy to be part of the MMFF. To me kasi it doesn’t really matter if you’re number one, two, three, four, five, whatever.
“At least everyone’s enjoying the film. That’s the only thing that matters,” pahayag ni Nadine.
Aniya pa sa isang interview, “I’m really very happy kasi nga this is my first time doing a horror film. So at least alam ko na kaya ko pala mag-horror film.
“And after watching din nu’ng premiere night, I was really, really happy with the work that I did. I’m just happy that everyone’s enjoying the film,” sey pa ng aktres.
Dagdag chika pa ni Nadine hinggil sa pagiging best actress sa MMFF 2022, “Parang lahat naman kina-career ko talaga. Ha-hahaha! I think that goes with everything that I do. I really give it my 110% in everything.
“So yun naman talaga ako. I really did give my all so I’m proud of my work here. Everyone did good so I’m not really expecting anything. Bahala na. I’m just happy that Deleter is finally out,” hirit pa niya.
Bukod sa Best Actress award at Best Picture award, naiuwi rin ng “Deleter” ang Best Director, Best Cinematography at Best Visual Effects.
“Ang greatest reward na take home ko rito is nagustuhan ng mga Filipino yung Deleter. Kumabaga sobrang laking bonus talaga nitong mga awards namin pero proud naman kaming lahat sa Deleter.
“Tsaka ibinigay talaga namin lahat ng effort namin, lahat ng dugo, pawis, binigay po talaga namin. So masaya ako.
“Sobrang saya and sobrang grateful ko. Thank you for the non-stop support and for everyone who’s been there since day one. To all of the fans and to my Viva family of course and to team Deleter,” mensahe pa ng dalaga.
“Maraming salamat for loving the movie and my character as well. I don’t think Lyra is relatable so hindi ko alam kung naka-relate kayo but happy ako na napasigaw namin kayo this Christmas,” pahabol pang pahayag ni Nadine.
