Tweet ng actress/director, “What an argument, we literally have different government offices that all have allocated budgets to make sure that every sector in our country runs smoothly.

Hospital settings nakakatawa yung mga Pinoy artist na role as Nurses and Doctors.

Dagdag pa ni Bela, “Films are a part of our culture. It’s a form of art. In many ways, films feed audiences ideas and values. Wouldn’t you want to make sure that what is served is of good quality? If they aren’t meant to help the film industry, why do they get to dictate what YOU watch then?

Tanong ng isang netizen, “What? Why would government fund films? So we would ask government to fund video games? Next? If the product is creative and innovative enough it will bring money. Lmao, this entitlement.”

The difference of how they work is inspiring. I’m saddened as a filmmaker in the Philippines that we don’t get the same support, funding or help from our government.

“And if filmmakers in the Philippines are given the same respect and support, we definitely could create world class content too. Sadly, that isn’t the case. But to ban certain programs because their doing better than us is such a petty move.”
