MAS masusubaybayan ng madla ang paghahanap sa susunod na Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen sa pamamagitan ng three-episode primer na “Journey to the Crown” na bubusisi sa bawat isa sa mga finalist na naghahangad na masungkit ang korona ngayong taon.
Nito lang Set. 14, ipinakilala na ang Top 12 finalists para sa ikatlong edisyon ng virtual pageant ng Manila Broadcasting Co. (MBC) sa Aliwan Fiesta Facebook page. Mas makikilala pa ang bawat isa sa kanila sa tulong ng pageant blogger na si Norman Tinio sa unang episode ng primer na “Meet the Queens” sa Set. 17.
“Norman has judged the past two years, so he knows what we are looking for beyond beauty on the surface, kung sino ’yong tamang fit both for the digital platforms, attitude-wise, and siyempre sa beauty standards, ’yong may potential to host, to be a product endorser, to compete nationally, and to be of real service to the community,” sinabi ni MBC PR consultant Susan Isorena-Arcega sa Inquirer sa isang online interview.
Lalabas naman sa Set. 24 ang pangalawang episode na “Queens for a Cause” kasama si DZRH news anchor Karen Ow-Yong. “[She] was also the one who queried the girls last year as to their advocacies, sanay mag-follow through. She knows why we decided to strengthen the commitment to advocacy criterion, so ’yon ang hihimayin niya,” ani Arcega.
Mapapanood naman sa ikatlong episode na “The Making of a Queen” sa Okt. 1 ang kilalang queenmaker na si Rodgil Flores.
“Tito Rodgil of course, being a highly respected trainor, has also lent his golden touch to many of our previous Reynas. Alam na rin niya ang calibre na hanap namin and who would be a good fit, a joy, and maybe even a challenge for him to train into a winnable national/international queen,” ibinahagi ni Arcega.
Dati, lumalabas ang primer bago sumalang ang mga yugto ng patimpalak, kung saan mga personalidad mula sa DZRH ang naglalahad ng backgrounder. “We felt having resource people [this year] would be somewhat a different touch,” sinabi ni Arcega.
Maliban sa pagpapaingay para sa mga kandidata at dagdag na pagpapakilala sa mga sponsor, umaasa si Arcega na maipakikita rin ng primer sa mga manonood “why we are still doing the pageant virtually, and what kind of candidate will best fit our wants for the Aliwan Fiesta Digital Queen.”
Mapapanood ang mga episode ng “Journey to the Crown” sa Aliwan Fiesta page at sa lahat ng digital platforms ng MBC radio stations. Ipapalabas din sa DZRH Television ang delayed telecast ng primer.
