Jaya nagpasalamat sa lahat ng tumulong matapos masunugan: We are tired, fatigued, heartbroken, but not defeated!

Jaya kasama ang asawa’t mga anak sa Amerika

ILANG araw matapos lamunin ng apoy ang kanilang bahay sa Amerika, nagkuwento ang Soul Diva na si Jaya tungkol sa mga pinagdaanan nila ng kanyang pamilya.

Pagbabahagi ng award-winning singer, ipinagdiriwang nila ang kaarawan ng anak niyang babae nang bigla na lang magliyab at masunod ang kanilang tahanan nang dahil sa electrical problem.

“Thank God, my husband Gary, calmly took control and led us to safety. Our son Gavin helped big time as well, but lost ALL of his possessions, but miraculously, his BIBLE, wallet & passport were untouched by the fire!” simulang pagbabahagi ni Jaya sa kanyang Instagram account.

Pagpapatuloy pa niya, “The main 3 bedrooms and some parts of the house didn’t really burn, which was crazy because the fire was so huge and all over!!! So more of our documents & clothings, especially our Bibles, also got spared.”

Mabilis naman daw nakaresponde ang mga bumbero sa kanilang lugar at agad tumulong mga kapitbahay sa kanila na nagbigay ng damit at tubig. Ilang malalapit din nilang kaibigan sa US ang dumamay sa kanila.

“With all the chaos and devastation, my mind blocked so much of what happened. But what I do remember was how we as a family coped. I saw our 3 kids crying and feeling so afraid & helpless but comforted and helped each other.

“They were so brave yet tender and vulnerable. They were selfless and mindful of what’s happening around that they even helped me and safe, ‘It’s okay Mom. We are all okay. Don’t be sad,'” mensahe pa ng singer.

“My husband running back and forth, talking to the firefighters, insurance person, and I don’t know who else, checking on us and comforting us, even smiling at all of us that he forgot himself in the midst of the chaos,” aniya pa.

Ito naman ang message ni Jaya sa asawang si Gary Gotidoc at mga anak nilang sina Gavin, Sab at Dylan.

“Gary, I’m so proud to be married to a Man of God. Your faith was in full force that day. We all saw how you were surrendered to Jesus and letting His will be done. You didn’t crack, you had no fear. That was powerful in our eyes…I love you forever.

“I am so proud of you, Gavin, Sab, and Dylan. Dad and I have the best children!!! We are blessed to do and live this life with you.

“I’m so sad for you kids but I know this will keep you stronger and tighter as individuals and as siblings. I love you forever,” pagbabahagi pa ng premyadong singer.

Hindi rin niya nakalimutang pasalamatan ang lahat ng nagdasal at tumulong sa kanila sa gitna ng trahedya at kagipitan.

“Thank you to all of you, family & friends from the US, Philippines & around the world who sent us hopeful messages through texts, calls, and social media.

“Your love, kind, and inspiring words are so overwhelming. Thank you so much to all of you who sent and still are sending us financial help.

“We might not be able to respond to your messages, but know we are thankful and so grateful. We pray that God will return the favor. May God truly bless you!

“We are tired, fatigued, heartbroken, but not defeated. We still catch ourselves cry in secret, but we are alright. We are humbled by this experience. Now we know not to take anything for granted.

“We now move forward, one day at a time. Thank God we still have work that can help keep our minds busy. We will continue to love, live, laugh, sing, dance, create new memories, and remain hopeful,” ang pahabol pang pahayag ng nag-iisang Queen of Soul.
