TALAGANG ayaw pa ring sumabak sa akting ang rakistang si Bamboo. In fairness, napakarami nang napatunayan ng isa sa mga mentor-judges ng The Voice of the Philippines kaya marami ang nangungulit sa kanya na mag-try naman sa pag-arte.
Sa presscon ni Bamboo kahapon bilang ambassador ng Globe Home Tattoo Broadband, sinabi ni Bamboo na 99.5% “no” ang sagot niya sa aming tanong kung ilang percent ang posibilidad na mapanood na namin siya sa isang teleserye o pelikula.
“Perhaps, I just love what I do now, so, that will never happen with me, sorry. I guess I know what I’m good at, I know what I’m comfortable with.
But as I always say, I’ll never say never but you know, there’s no plan of entering into acting,” sabi ni Bamboo na mas lalong gumuguwapo ngayon sa paningin ng kanyang mga supporters.
Sey pa ng singer-songwriter, may mga offer talaga siyang natatanggap para sumabak sa pag-aarista, pero lahat daw ay tinatanggihan niya, “I’ve got this feeling na hindi pa ready ang mga Pinoy na mag-artista ako. Ha-hahaha!”
Pero aniya, kung may pelikulang iaalok sa kanya, at magugustuhan niya ang material, at magagawa niyang i-share ang kanyang talent sa music, why not? Pero muli niyang hirit, “I really don’t know.
I have to have a director I can trust for film, kasi tingin ko, I can’t handle the long hours of shooting or taping. I enjoy what I do too much which is singing, performing, and songwriting.
That’s what I live and breathe for and having my own time.” Samantala, proud na proud ang Globe sa pagkakaroon ng ambassador sa katauhan ni Bamboo dahil naniniwala sila na perfect ito sa gusto nilang i-project sa mga tao dahil sabi nga ng Globe executive na si Juris Gamban, “He constantly aims for greatness and lives without limits, like Globe Home Tattoo Broadband.”
“I share the values that this product espouses, that greatness begins at home with the love and support of one’s family, that we should aspire to make a difference beyond ourselves, and in doing so help move worlds for the better,” ani Bamboo.
Hirit pa niya, “It also fuels my passion to dream bigger and do bigger things, to become an inspiration to others, and to take on new adventures in my musical journey.”
