‘Voltes V: Legacy’ ng GMA magbo-volt in na sa 2023, sey ni Direk Mark Reyes: ‘The level of expectation is really scary…’

“LET’S volt in!” Yes, tuloy na tuloy na aarangkada sa 2023 ang much awaited GMA 7 live action adaptation series na “Voltes V: Legacy.”

Tiniyak ng veteran director na si Mark Reyes na worth it ang matagal na paghihintay ng Kapuso viewers para sa pag-ere ng world-class fantasy-action-drama program ng GMA.

“The level of expectation is really scary for us but I guarantee you that GMA spared no expense in producing the series,” ani Direk Mark sa panayam ng “24 Oras” kamakailan.

Bibida sa remake na “Voltes V: Legacy” sina Miguel Tanfelix bilang Steve Armstrong, Ysabel Ortega bilang Jamie Robinson, Matt Lozano bilang Big Bert Armstrong, Radson Flores bilang Mark Gordon, at Raphael Landicho bilang Little John Armstrong.

Nauna rito, ibinalita ni Direk Mark na natapos na nila ang lahat mga eksenang kailangang kunan sa loob ng Camp Big Falcon at halos kalahati na rin ng serye ang nai-tape nila.

Aniya pa, “Even post-production is doing all the CGI graphics, they’re not working from the office, where they have the bigger machines like in Riot or even in GMA. They’re working from home with much less advanced or fast machines or computers. That also slows us down.

“So it’s hard to quantify when we will be able to finish because one of our promises to our viewers is we won’t rush this,” sabi ni Direk.

Sa isang hiwalay na panayam, sinabi ni Mark Reyes na talagang hindi naging madali sa buong production ang pagbuo sa “Voltes V: Legacy”.

Lahat daw kasi ng ginagawa nila ay kailangang aprubado ng GMA, ng local franchise holder at ng owner nito sa Japan (Toei Company Ltd).

“It’s a long process. We will have to finish everything before we send everything to Japan for their approval. And that’s the only time that we can launch this production.

“There are three governing bodies for the approval of everything, down to the piece of helmet, to the costume, special effects to the design. So it’s a really long process,” sabi pa ng direktor.
