Kiko Pangilinan, Leni Robredo, Gab Valenciano at Gary Valenciano

Sa kanyang Instagram page, nag-post si Gab ng litratong kuha sa isang campaign rally na may caption na, “For my final campaign post, I simply want to say thank you to everyone who joined us in this epic battle.

“To every city I was able to visit, to every person I’ve met, maraming salamat po sa pagtindig at sa oras at puso na ibinigay ninyo para sa laban na to. This season brought out the best in me, I’m sure it did the same for many of you too.

“Tomorrow is a new day. Let us become better than we were today, even in the smallest of ways. Let’s go Pilipinas, kaya natin to. Angat buhay lahat!

“See you on July 1.

“‘When you focus on a purpose higher than your own concerns you will endure all things.’ – Tito Kiko,” ang simula ng kanyang caption.

Pagkukuwento pa niya, “Last night was special. We laughed, we cried, we danced and we sang. We shared stories, we reconnected with familiar faces and built new friendships. It was a celebration of people and the love we all share.

“This was my moment with my uncle. Pondering if I could have done more and simply telling him I did the best I could to bridge the vision he was trying to fight for. He simply said, ‘You did your best Gab and so much more. This is just the beginning. I love you.’

“There is no greater honor than to stand your ground and fight for what you believe in, but also, fight alongside people you love for a country you love so dearly. This season of my life is, and always will be, my proudest moment,” lahad pa ng anak ni Gary V.

Dagdag pa ni Gab, “As we move forward, my heart goes out to everyone who moved with us, who fought with us and believed in my uncle and what he stood for.

“Even to those who opposed us, may God bless you all exceedingly and abundantly. At the end of the day, whatever color you choose to wear doesn’t define the color of your soul.

“And that is Filipino. May we continue to spread love, peace and joy and know that in all things the Lord works for the good of those who love Him.
