Nadine Lustre

Not because, hindi ko siya tiningnan as actors or our profession.

“Mas tiningnan ko when we are off-cam, pag nasa set lang po kami, nagpapahinga, nagge-get-together or nagkukuwentuhan, mas do’n po kasi ako naka-connect sa kanila.

“And I love na parang hindi kami nagtrabaho at all. Parang nagha-hang-out lang kami sa set. And what I really loved about it, si Direk kasi, he’s very collaborative. And I love that we exchanged stories.

“We all exchanged music.

Dugtong ng dalaga, “So, it’s really more the real people behind the camera that’s what I discovered.”

I guess, in a way, understandable din naman. Not necessarily because of my line of work but also because, hindi pa rin ako marunong mag-save nu’ng time na yon.

Gusto kong i-enjoy yung pera,” dagdag pa niya.

Sabi pa ng dating dyowa ni James Reid, “I’m the breadwinner of the family. So, growing up whenever I would have gigs before or kaya mga commercials, that’s what I used to do before. So, every time I would get my talent fee, it would always be spent with the whole family, tuition fees of my siblings.

“So when I started earning more because of the movies, teleseryes, endorsements, parang may time na naging greedy ako when it comes to spending on myself.

“Just because you know, I didn’t experience buying the things I like, just spending money on myself.  So medyo naging greedy ako nu’ng time na yon, but eventually, you know, I grew older and I learned,” katwiran pa niya.

I’m more aware of the money that I’m receiving. I’m not really the same anymore. I do save money for the future.  It’s completely different.”
