“Violence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive.

“I would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris. I was out of line and I was wrong.”

Dagdag pa niya, “Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

“I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be,” pahayag pa ng international actor.

“I would also like to apologize to the Academy, the producers of the show, all the attendees and everyone watching around the world. I would like to apologize to the Williams Family and my King Richard Family.

“I deeply regret that my behavior has stained what has been an otherwise gorgeous journey for all of us. I am a work in progress,” aniya pa.

Jane” na nag-shave ng kanyang ulo for the project.

Kahapon, naglabas nga ng pahayag ang Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences tungkol sa ginawa ni Will Smith sa Oscars.

“We have officially started a formal review around the incident and will explore further action and consequences in accordance with our Bylaws, Standards of Conduct and California law,” sabi ng pamunuan ng Oscars.

Dagdag nila, nakasaad sa conduct policy ng award-giving body na sila ay kontra, “to any form of abuse, harassment or discrimination” at inaasahan na ang lahat ng members nito ay susunod sa “values of respect for human dignity, inclusion, and a supportive environment that fosters creativity.”

“Violations may result in suspension or expulsion from the organization, revocation of Oscars, or loss of eligibility for future awards,” ang nakasaad pa sa policy ng Oscars.

Day”, “Men in Black”, “Gemini Man” at “Alladin”.
