Maris Racal at Rico Blanco
WALANG plano sa Valentine’s Day ang celebrity couple na sina Rico Blanco at Maris Racal.
Kung naghahanda na ang ibang magdyowa sa showbiz para sa selebrasyon bukas, Feb. 14, ng Araw ng mga Puso, kabaligtaran naman nito sina Maris at Rico.
Mula nang umamin sa publiko ang dalawang Kapamilya stars tungkol sa kanilang relasyon, ay mas naging open na rin si Rico sa pagbabahagi ng mga kaganapan sa kanyang lovelife.
“Before, I wanted people to focus lang on the project whatever it is. If I’m doing a presscon for my album, let’s talk about that project.
“Ayoko lang na iba yung pinag-uusapan kasi nahihiya ako sa nag-organize ng presscon, sa producer ng show, ganu’n, tapos iba yung pag-uusapan. But now I think I’m a little more mature,” simulang chika ng singer-songwriter.
Dagdag pa niyang paliwanag, “I know how it works, I know about views and eyeballs. Kasi nag-mature na rin ako sa industry, eh.
“Dati I was just a guy in a band, di ba? And we don’t know how the bigger picture works so we’re so protective about our art and our image and all of that.
“I guess it comes with maturity. Ngayon siguro at peace na ako sa na-achieve ko all these years so parang hindi na ako takot to put myself out there for who and what I really am,” sabi pa ni Rico.
Naimpluwensiyahan din daw siya ni Maris pagdating sa paggamit ng social media, “Iba rin kasi yung vibe ni Maris. She engages social media. She makes fun of herself which is kind of like my language also. Mas masungit lang ako nang kaunti.
“Masungit yung humor ko nang konti sa social media. Alam kasi ng fans ko na lambing ko yung sa kanila.
“When I trash talk with them, I’m leveling na parang I’m not different from you guys. Like mag-asaran tayo dito. And she has that same vibe,” aniya pa.
Nang matanong nga kung may plano na sila ni Maris sa Valentine’s Day bukas, “Alam natin sa industry natin wala tayong Valentine’s, wala tayong Christmas and New Year kasi tayo yung nagpapasaya ng ibang tao.
“So one of the advantages of being a showbiz couple I guess is that you both understand. It’s harder to be in a relationship with someone who is in a different field. May disadvantages din but that’s one of the advantages,” pahayag ng binata.
