Bettinna Carlos at Mikki Eduardo
NAKUNAN ang TV host-actress na si Bettinna Carlos sa unang baby sana nila ng kanyang non-showbiz husband na si Mikki Eduardo.
Ibinahagi ni Bettinna sa kanyang mga followers sa Instagram kahapon ang pagluluksa ng kanilang pamilya sa pagkawala ng sanggol sa kanyang sinapupunan.
Ipinost niya sa IG ang mga litrato ng kanyang positive pregnancy test, ang sonogram ng dinadala niyang baby, at ang excerpt mula sa librong “To Anyone Who Has Lost A Child” ni Vaneetha Rendall Risner.
“We were pregnant and then no more. To all the mothers who have lost their children before they could even hold them, feel them, see them (in the flesh or through ultrasound), may you, too, find peace in this: God’s purposes for the lives of our unborn children were fully fulfilled however long or short they were in us. Their lives did not go to waste,” ang isinulat na caption ng TV host at celebrity mom.
Pagpapatuloy pa ni Bettinna, “If you are still breathing, that means God’s purpose for you is not yet fulfilled. Hence, your very life and every breath.”
Sabi pa ng aktres, sa kabila ng nangyari, nagpapasalamat pa rin siya na kahit paano’y napasaya sila ng batang nasa kanyang sinapupunan kahit nga hindi nila ito nasilayan.
“Lord, You were so gracious in giving to us and You are still good even in taking away. Thank You for the fresh hope and new joy that You gave us even for a very short while.

Ibinahagi rin niya ang ilang nakasulat sa librong nabasa niya (To Anyone Who Has Lost A Child), “The Lord has a purpose for each human life, and so a child who dies in the womb has fulfilled his purpose just as fully as someone who lives to old age…This child’s life, however brief, was full of meaning and purpose.”
Nauna rito, nagp-post din si Bettinna ng isang dasal ng pasasalamat, “Knowing You changed my life. It gave it meaning and purpose for every day that I wake up, every person I encounter, every situation I find myself in.
“Thank you that You have molded my heart to thank You IN ALL THINGS. To see Your Hand on my life. To see You and Your goodness behind everything. Thank you for the way and extent You allow me to know You. Help me pursue You more and more,” aniya pa.
Nagpakasal sina Bettinna at Mikki noong December, 2020. Ang panganay ng aktres na si Amanda Lucia “Gummy” Carlos (10 years old na ngayon) ay anak niya sa dating partner.
